iStupid

I went to the gym the other day which is on it´s own worth mentioning because I never go there (I should mention that the gym is on the 7th floor and I live on the 10th) anyway I took with me two kinds of itools, my ishuffle which I normally take with me training but also, since the shuffle was almost out of battery, my ipod mini (there is nothing worse than being running and running out of battery). After the gym session which was fully occupied with music thanks to my ability to think ahead I came back full of energy and decided to do some laundry before hitting the showers. So in a endorphin rush I threw my gym sweater in the washing machine only to realise one hour later that I managed to wash both the shuffle and the mini! I am probably one of few people in the world who have managed to wash two Itools at the same time.
One of my favourite Chinese saying (they have many great ones)  is 旧的不去,新的不来! or jiu de bu qu, xin de bu lai! or If the old doesn´t go away there is no space for the new! This brilliant saying hadn´t even crossed my mind as I was cursing myself trying to blow dry and oven dry the damaged shuffle and mini when Mr P came home with a brand new ipad nano (he actually could have invented this saying as he has no problem getting rid of the old and buying new). After being reluctant accepting the generous gift feeling it was a too ease way out after being so extraordinary reckless I caved in (the drying was not working) and realised that in 5 years (both the mini and the shuffle were over 5 years old) Apple had added some awesome new features because now besides listen to my playlists I can listen to the radio (which ilove) and track my steps!  I should also mention that the two damaged ones were a gift from an ex boy in my life so it was actually in this case really a time to let the old go away.
